Daniel A. Gross

Daniel A. Gross founded his firm on the principle that each defendant deserves immediate access to experienced legal representation. His team is dedicated to giving each client the care and attention necessary to fight for a positive outcome.
As a D.C. criminal defense attorney, Dan represents clients facing charges ranging from minor misdemeanor traffic violations in the District to major felonies -- including armed robbery, burglary, gun charges, possession with intent to distribute (PWID) controlled substances and sexual abuse. Dan also handles a variety of white collar crimes.
Attorney Gross continues to focus a significant portion of his practice on providing clients with comprehensive drunk driving defense in D.C. and defense of other serious driving-related charges, including vehicular manslaughter and charges related to police chases or hit-and-run accidents.
Dan has attended a student course approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) in DWI Detection and the Administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs). This is the same training required for law enforcement officers before they are certified to perform SFSTs on suspected drunk drivers. Dan has also attended an in-depth seminar on the operation and fallibility of the Intox EC/IR Breathalyzer which is quickly becoming the new standard used by police departments across the country. Attorney Gross is also a member of the National College for DUI Defense.
Dan received his law degree from New England Law|Boston and is licensed to practice law before the highest courts of the District of Columbia, The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the State of South Carolina. Daniel received his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
Working at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office while in law school, Attorney Gross learned how prosecutors and police build cases against defendants. Since moving into private practice, he has dedicated his career to the defense of clients.
